PADDINGTON MISSION POSSIBLE
Our client, a successful Sydney IT Consultant, set us a serious challenge: to find him a freestanding home with abundant natural light. The catch – it had to be in Paddington or Woollahra, suburbs famous for their iconic terrace homes with party walls. He knew it wasn’t an easy task; he’d been searching himself for months with no success.
Undaunted, we started identifying suitable homes in the area by analysing building envelopes and floorplans. Through a rigorous process of elimination we short-listed all the north facing homes with windows on three sides. Our forensic approach paid off soon after; we found our client a unique, L-shaped, freestanding terrace house in the heart of Paddington.
Beyond his wildest expectations, the sunny, spacious home was built over three house blocks and had a swimming pool, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate guest quarters – all for a similar price to a standard terrace in the area. At Sydney Property Finders we thrive on challenges like this.
